Dr. Stuart Brody received his PhD in Clinical Psychology in 1984 in the USA, and in 2014 he was awarded the higher doctorate DSc degree by the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. He is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and a Chartered Psychologist. He was Professor of Psychology at the University of the West of Scotland, before being Professor of Psychology at Charles University in Prague. Earlier, he worked as an academic researcher at the Universities of Tübingen and Trier in Germany, and as a full-time clinician in New York City including working for the courts and Veterans hospitals. He is the highly-cited author of over 190 scholarly publications.
